Jeffrey
Altergott
"The
road from playing in an 80's alt-rock cover band to being a
singer-songwriter who sounds more like a hopeful Elliot Smith than
Robert Smith has been a fun ride. The focus on acoustic music and
songwriting happened in the early 90's when I discovered the music of
the Indigo Girls and Tracy Chapman. I became ravenous for anything in
this genre and traded in my Les Paul for an acoustic guitar. <more>

Telling
Point/Sue Balaschak
Ask
for the background of each member and you'll understand how this
Cleveland based rock group came to have such an eclectic sound.
Influences ranging from jazz and middle eastern to classic rock and
new metal have caused Telling Point to classify their style as
"Indefinable Rock". The commanding drums and melodic bass
grooves will keep you moving as the sensual vocals embrace you. Each
song is a new story: personal, inviting. By the end of the show
you'll feel you know the band better than the person you're going
home with. And with the band at least, you'll know you want to come
back for more.

Megan
Cameron
I
think I was born signing. When I was about 10 my parents gave me a
Rhythm 8 keyboard and I spent hours writing and recording songs on a
little tape player. My parents made me take piano when I was in the
3rd grade, which I hated...unfortunately, I quit after about 2 years.
However, I did learn enough to get by. In high school I began writing
music on the piano. It wasn't until I was in college, studying music
that I really began to write songs. Songwriting became a creative
outlet for me in an otherwise restrictive environment. In 1997 I
performed 4 songs at a local open stage and I have been performing
around the Athens area and throughout Ohio ever since.
